In manufacturing, IAM Systems holds several patents primarily
toward the development of reflector system panels. The semi-lathe,
originally invented for the Smithsonian Sub-Millimeter Array radio
telescope, is an example of one such patent which resulted in the
successful completion of precision reflector systems.
